Blue Beanie Day

blue beanie day

Today is a special day for the web development world. It’s the Fourth Annual Blue Beanie. If you don’t already know what it means, consider yourself ready to be educated. It’s the day that all the web geeks come together to celebrate web standards because that’s what we strive for as passionate professionals.

This is actually my first time wearing a real blue beanie, courtesy of An Event Apart. Throughout the day, you’ll see millions of people change their avatars and post other pictures of this blue movement. If you can’t find a blue beanie because the stores sold out of them all, try adding it via Photoshop, face-sticker.quodis or monkeyfy

You can check out some of the other blue beanie people on flickr.

Do you have your blue beanie?
